Mr. Mullaney has been a supporter of Smile Train 1998 and presently serves as a senior advisor to the Smile Train.

Mr. Mullaney was a Director and Vice Chairman of The Gillette Company until his retirement. He is the father of Brain F. Mullaney, the President and Co-Founder of Smile Train.

Prior to joining Gillette, Mr. Mullaney served in the United States Government as General Counsel to the Special Trade Representative and as General Council to the director of the Cost of Living Council. Before that he was a partner in a national law firm.

During his business career, Mr. Mullaney served as a director and or/or Trustee of a number of civic and charitable organizations in Boston and Massachusetts.

Mr. Mullaney lives in Westport and Boston Mass and in the Town of Orchid, Florida.
